Privacy Policy
This policy explains what FilePebble processes, what stays on your device, and what may change when advertising or optional services are enabled.
Files you process
Supported document, PDF, and image operations are performed locally by code running in your browser. FilePebble does not intentionally upload, store, or inspect the contents of files you select for those tools. Generated download links use temporary browser object URLs and stop working when the page or browser releases them.
Browser storage
FilePebble uses local browser storage to remember your language choice and, only when server delivery fails, to keep a fallback copy of feedback on the current device. You can remove this information by clearing site data in your browser. Do not include passwords, personal documents, or other sensitive information in feedback text.
Hosting and technical logs
The hosting provider may process standard request information such as IP address, requested URL, browser type, timestamps, and security signals to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and maintain reliability. File contents handled by the local tools are not part of normal page requests.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
FilePebble uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page views, visits, referrers, approximate region, browser and device information, and page performance. The analytics beacon receives normal technical request data but does not receive the contents of PDFs or images processed by the tools. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy for provider details.
Advertising and Google
FilePebble has integrated Google AdSense and may display ads after Google approves the site. Third-party vendors including Google may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, limit, measure, and personalize ads based on visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on a user’s visits.
You can manage personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings. Additional information is available in Google’s advertising policies. For visitors in regions where consent is required, FilePebble uses Google’s certified consent management platform with accept, reject, and customize choices.
Feedback
When you submit feedback, the message, selected type, optional contact value, timestamp, and moderation status are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. A one-way visitor fingerprint is kept briefly to limit spam. Access to the moderation dashboard requires a server-verified owner password and a secure, HttpOnly session cookie. Feedback is automatically removed after 365 days unless the owner deletes it sooner. If server delivery fails, the browser may keep a fallback copy only on your device.
Children
FilePebble is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit personal information about a child through the feedback form.
Your choices
- Process files without creating an account.
- Clear locally stored language and feedback data in browser settings.
- Decline or manage advertising consent where a consent message is presented.
- Use Google Ads Settings to control ad personalization.
Changes
This policy may be updated when hosting, analytics, feedback, or advertising features change. The date at the top identifies the latest version.
A dedicated public privacy contact and complete operator identity must still be published before the service is promoted broadly or monetized in jurisdictions that require those disclosures.
