Improve photos before conversion

  1. Photograph each page on a flat surface with even light and no strong shadows.
  2. Crop unnecessary background and rotate sideways images before creating the PDF.
  3. Arrange the files in reading order and remove accidental duplicates.

Create and check the PDF

Select the images in their intended order, start the conversion, and open the automatically downloaded PDF. Zoom in on small text, totals, dates, and signatures. If a page is blurry, replace only that photo and create the PDF again.

Balance image quality and file size

High-resolution photos make text clearer but can produce a large PDF. For email, resize unusually large camera images before conversion or compress the completed PDF once. Always keep an uncompressed copy when the document may be needed as evidence or for official use.
