Merge PDF online — free and private

Combine contracts, scans, reports, or attachments into one ordered PDF without uploading private documents.

Use this tool

Why use FilePebble?

  • Runs locally in your browser
  • No account or watermark
  • Automatic download when ready

How it works

  1. Add at least two PDFs in the order you want to read them. The output follows the file list.
  2. Adjust the available options and start processing.
  3. The finished result downloads automatically.

Files stay on your device

Supported PDF and image operations run in your browser. FilePebble does not upload the selected file contents to its server.

Before you start

Large files depend on your device's available memory. Keep the original until you have checked the result.

Good uses for this tool

  • Combine a cover letter, application form, evidence, and attachments into one upload.
  • Join monthly reports or scanned chapters in the order a reader expects.
  • Package several client documents into one file without changing the originals.

A reliable workflow

  1. Open every source PDF first and confirm that it is readable and not password-protected.
  2. Add files in final reading order. The order shown in the file list becomes the order in the new PDF.
  3. Create the combined file, then inspect the first page, every boundary between source files, and the last page.
  4. Rename the result with a useful subject, version, and date before sharing it.

What to check before sharing

Merging preserves page content, but it cannot correct sideways scans, duplicate pages, poor image quality, or inconsistent page sizes. Check page orientation and transitions after download. Keep signed originals separately because assembling a new PDF does not preserve the legal meaning of each source signature.

Honest limitations

This tool accepts valid PDF files. It does not merge Word documents, spreadsheets, archives, or damaged binary files. Convert supported documents to PDF first, then merge the resulting PDFs.

If the result is not right

If a file is rejected, open it in a PDF reader and save a fresh copy. If the result is too large, compress the completed PDF once after checking its page order.

Frequently asked questions

Is Merge PDF free?

Yes. The tool is free to use, requires no account, and adds no watermark.

Are my files uploaded?

No. Supported processing happens locally in your browser. Hosting and analytics receive normal page-request data, not the contents of files you process.

Which formats are supported?

This tool supports PDF. Browser memory and unusual or damaged files can affect very large jobs.
